An excellent example of adaptive reuse of an over 100-year-old forge and manufacturing facility. This 1913 original build Westinghouse forge a manufacturing site, has been home to innovations that have changed the world. MIP is now renovating this space with McMaster University to be the new home of Canada’s Global Nexus for Pandemics and Biological Threats. The Global Nexus will be 300,000 sq ft of research and innovation facility that will ensure Canada’s readiness for next wave of pandemic whenever it should happen.
